Happy independace day
But as i think of it i ask are we really independant???
We still cant choose our education
Still everything is based on our religion
Still our choice of life partner is waiting for parents decision
Our love is still waiting for others opinion
Internet is still under govts control
Our borders still need continous patrol
Still everywhere we see child labour
Thats one thing we should most despair
Books and benches for thousands are still dreams
Their innocent childhood still screams
Labouring in the heat to earn a little cream
Residing at places which cannot be cleaned
Every currupt politician is always forgiven
We have an opposition pappu with no vision
Governments are still paralysed of indecision
Still unable to understand their actual mission
Our constitution have given each of us equal right
Still we lack courage to choose and fight
We adapt with situation and feel delight
And we cry independance is our right...
